End-to-End Encrypted
Data is transferred directly between your devices using WebRTC. It never touches our servers and is fully encrypted in transit. This is the most secure way to share sensitive files between your own devices or with others nearby.
Revolutionary Private Sharing
In an era where every file upload is tracked and stored by cloud providers, we offer a zero-knowledge alternative. Our Secure File Share tool establishes a direct pipeline between two browsers, effectively bypassing the cloud entirely.
Whether you're sending a high-resolution photo from your phone to your PC or sharing a confidential document with a colleague, the data moves directly through the internet's infrastructure without being intercepted or stored by any intermediary server.
How It Works
WebRTC Data Channels
We use the WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) protocol, which is built into all modern browsers. It allows for high-performance, low-latency data exchange directly between peers.
The QR Code Handshake
WebRTC requires a "handshake" to connect two devices. We've simplified this process by embedding the signaling ID into a QR code. Just scan it on your mobile device to establish the encrypted link instantly.
How to Use
Follow these steps for a secure transfer:
- Initialize: Open this page on the device you want to receive files on.
- Pair Devices: Scan the QR code or share the URL with the device you want to send files from.
- Select Files: On the sender device, click "Add files" and select the documents or images you wish to share.
- Send: Click the checkmark icon next to each file to begin the direct transfer.
- Receive & Download: The receiver device will show the files as they arrive. Click the download icon to save them to your local storage.
